It’s Time Again for Fashion Friday!
Bloggers in Texas, California, New Mexico & Utah have the unique thrifting advantage over other thrift bloggers in that they have access to a Thrift Town. There are quite a few such lucky bloggers in my hometown of Sacramento California (where we have THREE Thrift Town Stores!), one of which is a blog called Citizen Rosebud, written by miss Bella Q. In her own words:
“The Citizen Rosebud is a collective of creatives who dream to make things, artfully and sustainably. With emphasis on purposeful re-use, we have created a small but determined line that rescues and re-uses quality vintage clothing. Currently sold locally, in Sacramento, California, we are now building our shop on etsy.”

This outfit is great, because it not only mixes different patterns & textures, but it is assembled from many different stores, one of which, obviously, is Thrift Town. Moving toward sustainable fashion is a big undertaking, and every step toward that is a positive one. It’s great to see someone incorporate thrift into an outfit that’s also from a regular department store and a local vintage shop.
Not everyone can go 100% thrift with a wardrobe (it’s really hard!) but I love finding bloggers who care about sustainable fashion and consistently show their readers creative ways to incorporate it into their wardrobe.
So show Citizen Rosebud some love, and have fun thrifting!
