A TIP OF THE HAT.
Have you heard of the Red Hat Society? You must be a woman over 50 years old to be involved.
This is a way for women to celebrate their age and be proud to be a woman.
Aren’t they fabulous?? As evidenced by this picture, women in this society
wear red hats and purple dresses (and a lot of flair!).
April 25th marks the 14th anniversary of the Red Hat Society,
and at Thrift Town, we’re gearing up to celebrate too!
If you’re wanting to red hat-it-up, we found these at one of our stores…
Because Thrift Town stores are so organized, you can easily outfit yourself for the Red Hat Society:
Go to the dresses, find your size, and go to the purple section. TA-DA!
Here are three from my personal thrifted purple dress collection.

When we went to Thrift Town to take pictures of red hats for this post,
we couldn’t help but notice the abundance of HATS, period.
It pretty much doesn’t matter who you are, if you like hats at all, there’s probably one you’d love.
If you’re a guy into fishing, or just being outdoors,
there’s a bunch of bucket hats in all different colors.
Sports fan? You just might find your favorite team amongst the hats here…
with just a quick glance, I found these five.
For the guy or girl who likes to garden or just be outdoors -
there are plenty of straw/sun hats to go around.
There’s something about a little girl in a hat that is absolutely irresistible.
Shades of pink, green, bows, flowers & seersucker: SO CUTE.
For little ones in the sun: favorite cartoon characters & bright colors.
Dressy hats aren’t just for Red Hat ladies. Just because Easter is over
doesn’t mean little girls can’t look fancy for a fun event.
Hope you all have a happy Thrifty Week!

I plan on joining as soon as I turn 50! Sounds like these ladies know how to have fun.
Women under 50 can participate, they just wear pink and lavender!
That’s awesome! I wonder what women I already know are a part of this – might be fun to get involved! With that knowledge – there’s even more to be found at Thrift Town. Definitely no lack of pink & lavender.
From what I’ve seen of it, they are women who celebrate their age and have a great time together. Sounds like fun to me!
I’ve been a Red Hat queen for several years and I love it! Thrift Town is a great store for finding red and purple attire to go with all my hats.
