Red White Blue for you.
The fourth of July is such a fantastic time of year to celebrate our nation, the summertime and the freedom we have as Americans. There are SO many ways to throw a celebration full of color, food and fun without breaking the bank.
Make sure to check out our Pinterest board on Thrifty Entertaining for more ideas for any of your festive gatherings.

Ice cream sundae bar? Yes please! Vintage thrifted trunks, boxes & suitcases add dimension to any table. Paper printouts from the internet can spruce up & label glass jars full of goodies. Did we mention the super affordable glassware?
You’re set!
Another take on ice cream bar – with buckets and lanterns instead of suitcases.
Fresh fruit has never looked so pretty! Take color coordinated bowls or platters, and elevate with candlesticks between. Ceramic glue to hold it all together and you’ve got a high styled display.
Red, white & blue patterned cloth napkins, sheets or even t-shirts can easily be cut into triangles. String up on, or above your table for added color.
Look for star cookie cutters or molds in our kitchen section –
you can cut or pour just about anything into star shapes.
So cute! Similar to the suitcase displays, hat boxes in
varying sizes make for a perfect cupcake display!
However you celebrate, stop in to Thrift Town first to set it up for less.
